Acca Insurance is presenting a scholarship program to improve the condition of average families. Of course, education has been proven to be the most important gift any society can give to its people. A society without proper education simply heads to doom, while those that embrace this shines brighter. That is why we have decided to assist all minority graduating high school students that are the first in their immediate family to seek college education. We are more concerned in helping those enrolled in a post-secondary institution that is regionally accredited financially. The scholarship goes to not only those that are already attending such institutions, but also to those who want to apply. The reason for this is that when you come to families where college education has not been the norm, it’s difficult to break the jinx. It is very right to conclude that it is always financially hard to train the first person that chooses to attend. Parents who did not have the chance to get college education will always have their income capped at some amount, and this makes it difficult to send their kids to such schools. Some other families, who may not be restricted by money, may not have the orientation and motivation to get college education. Therefore, they are in need of this as encouragement and motivation to attend.

Terms and Conditions:

Scholarship program
  • You must be a college student or an intending college student
  • You must be the first in your immediate family to attend college
  • Have a 3.0 GPA minimum

Application details

You must apply before the end of September 15, 2019 with the following;

  • A resume that contains some extracurricular activities and community service
  • An essay of one to three pages on the subject you want to study
  • Complete transcripts

Prize

Acca insurance offers a scholarship of $100 to onewinner. This program covers the educational costs as it concerns tuition and coursework only.

You must submit receipts that reveal how you spent the awarded funds. The scholarship will be awarded by the selection committee on September 28, 2019, during which they will announce the winner.
